Wow, that's an awful lot of films I've never heard of (eek!) I'd reply, but I've seen hardly any of these.

I tend to get put off seeing things if I know they've won a lot of awards. Although I do make exceptions sometimes.

I don't know why this is, in the same way I'll rarely read a highly recc-ed fic - it's just the way I am *shrug*

I'm a fanatic about movies... but I must say, I tend to run from those highly awarded movies as well... I've seen most of those with my family (when a kid and a teen) and the most of those recent winners BEFORE they won anything (or before I've know they won anything)...

Don't feel bad! I'm a fanatic that spent my teen and young adulthood living on movie theaters... I spent more money in movies than with food through my whole life...
Something I'm ashamedly proud of, actually... XD
I grew up in a house full of movies, a habit it's hard to break...
